Just got mine - I've been wanting it for years and have been waiting for it to come down in price, but it never has...so I just went for it...so far so good - I've used it twice and I LOVE the handle (it feels really nice in your hand) and the umbrella as a whole feels really sturdy. I'll let you all know how it holds up the longer I use it. I live in NYC and though it's not as windy as Chicago, the wind here has knocked me off my bike and on a really blustery day, the ground is littered with dead umbrellas (sad) - I'll let you know if my umbrella winds up in the umbrella graveyard. Also, the print looks GREAT in person!
I got this in April of last year, so it's lasted me a year and a half. I loved how sturdy it was and I thought that the size was perfect and the handle was very comfortable to hold. The spokes started to rust even though I've always left the umbrella out to dry once I got indoors. Then it started to flip out a lot in strong winds and recently, when it flipped out, one of the spokes bent and almost broke. I don't know if I'll be able to use it again and I'm debating whether to get another one. The design is great, I love it, and the umbrella is pretty sturdy otherwise. But I'm not sure whether I'm lucky that it's lasted this long or whether I'm unlucky that it didn't last longer.
